My name is Mari Hennings, and I was born in Baja California, Mexico. At a young age, I moved to San Diego, CA with my family. I attended Santa Monica College and I completed courses in Early Child Development. I have been teaching in my native language for 5 years and I am proud to be part of the Leaf Spanish Academy family! I absolutely love working with our youngest learners and to be able to help each child progress in all areas of their development; academically, socially, motor and most importantly with language. All of this is a beautiful challenge that I am honored to accept every day. I aim to create an environment that nurtures learners to grow and love learning in a positive, fun environment. I have been married for 12 beautiful years and have been blessed with two amazing boys who are 9 and 7 years old and have both developed a passion for languages. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
